hi seniors. m persuing mba in hr specialisation, in our coll we have a daily discussion on general topics. one of the topic was "why the attrition rate in companies is high" is the HR Dept responsible for this??? i want to discussion on this topic. :)
sure Managemnt responsible for this a Good HR dept can controll & maintain all employee satisfaction too
Sure the HR is responsible! No doubt! Remember Management and it's decisions can't be implemented until they get a nod from the HR. HR can get in and object if she feels that's going to lead discomfort and dissatisfaction amongst the employees. Alas! HR today thinks they are born to hire and fire. NO! They are there to find, observe, groom, employee, represent them (if necessary); HR is an advocate of the employees and not a prosecutor from the management. Attrition is a sure failure of the advocate (The HR)...Jeet@icandoit
