Greetings from New Delhi !
I have recently joined this forum a few days ago, and honestly speaking I am amazed at the vast storehouse of valuable information that I have found here. What is good about this is the exchange of ideas and advice that people share freely ! Great work !
To give a brief background about myself. I have been in the airline industry for the last 20 years, of which the last 10 were with an international airline as the Northern Region head.
I have always been an enthusiastic trainer and I quit my job last October to devote full time to this passion of mine. Currently, I am a freelance trainer with some leading institutes in the fields of Customer Services, Communication & Soft Skills, Airline industry & Aviation Security. In order to further my own skills in this field, I have also joined the distance learning diploma programme of ISTD.
I look forward to interacting with all of you, and also to learning from your vast range of experiences !
Regards,
Rajiv

LADY IRWIN COLLEGE, DU

hello Gentleman & Ladies,

I am Vaibhav, residing at Mumbai, I had completed my MBA into HR last year in jan 07' and since then I am struggling to get break into HR field, then after too much struggle I joined one Facilities Management Company in Mumbai purely specialized into Housekeeping Operations and taking contracts from the major Malls and Corporate Offices. I am working their as Operations Executive since last one year also getting handsome salary in 20's grands/month. But when it comes to job satisfaction I feeling that something is missing and I am not happy with the job, no matter basically I am from Hotel Industry and a Good Housekeeper, when I was in hotel industry, however, now when I had done MBA I have inclination towards Human Resource and really want to gain the same confidence in this field. Only I need is the start, but as we know getting into good company needs Experience which I don't have and no one actually entertain the fresher now. I need to know from you what should be my strategy in order to overcome this issue and from where should I start for my career into HR. My interest is to be generalist HR and want to grow in IT sector. I have the plan to start with recruiter at the consultancy and gradually may be after 1-2 years of exp. move into IT sector as a recruiter and then getting transfer into Generalist. Is that sounds good?

Do I need to undergo few more specialize courses, if yes, then please name them and from which institute should I undergo those courses. Also I would like to bring to your notice that I had done MBA of one year fulltime and we received degree from UNIVERSITY OF WALES and had curriculum according to their pattern. We dint had campus recruitments.

I hope to receive your valuable guidance at the earliest and hope you will do the needful.

Thankyou,

Warm Regards,

Vaibhav C. Pathare.

Hello Viabhav, Your idea seems to be ok. Good to associate yourself with 3rd party recruiting agencies like Mafoi, Nityo etc and get started with your career. Good Luck.
Dear VisionLeader, Cheers (Thanks) for your valuable support......I am obliged to know more views on the query Thankyou once again...! Warm Regards, vaib’s!
