Dear All,
I am Adv.Jayant LL.M.. it is generally very difficult to find out such experiance. But the best solution is to take a regiours interview of the candidate. Because now a days there are many new organisation cames in market and close also. Due to that, it is very difficult to find out such things. Secondly, we cannot take any action against such things because even though it is subsequent question of the carrier of the person. Many time in life such things may be allowed.
Best Regards,
Jayant.

Hi all,
I think what Geeta has experienced is becoming quite common and some of the solutions mentioned here are pretty good like the one of the official id and checking the website.
Another idea that comes to my mind is to get sompanies to do a complete background check including residence and police checks. This certainly helps in case the company handles sensitive data or even otherwise to safeguard the reputation of the company against any wrong doing.
Police checks are thorough but time consuming but there are companies that provide this service for a fee (not very high) and manage to give complete details in a short span of time.
if anyone is looking to do reference checks for theie employees i will be happy to provide you details for the same. You can mail me on .
All the best for the future and hope such incidences are checked at the soonest.

Dear
Karunas solution which is an on line process is good.Professional back ground check is also a good solution. In the US Embassy they call the references while you are sitting there [literally" !] .Maybe you can do that.

hi
Some candidates do hesitate in passing there official email id also if his/her current employer comes to know that he is on the lookout it will be a threat for them. the best way is to call and verify. i work for a embedded/semiconductor company so mostly i recruit guys through headhunting and 99% of the guys are safe.

Hey...new problem here...
The candidates are from consultancy's and are on contract basis with the Company's they are working in. The company where they are working, doesn't have information about the contract employees...
Please let me know, if the employers do keep the records of the employees who are on contract basis?

Hi Geeta,
The employers does not go for Verification checks for Contract hires, especially if it is through any third party, because for a simple reason that they can terminate the contract anytime if the canddiate does not perform good, and the employer does not hold any liability for the same.
In your case, I suggest that you can check with the Consultancy itself if he was working with them. To scritinize it further, you can ask the candidate to give the E-mail ID of his reporting manager with whom he was working in the Company and then get it verified from this. Also, The bank Statement where his salary gets credited can be used to check if his CTC details given are correct....
Hope my suggestions help you.

normally in the tech interviews we can evaluate his real time experience with the projects mentioned. there are some cases where the candidate can give a official id of the company or there are companies which are ready to give him fake certificate and complete fake details. if a candidate has a friend in a good company with the same name normally they use that email id.
