Some people believe our biggest environmental issues is global warming, others believe it is the degradation of some of our beautiful forests and some people believe it to be us, the human race.
What do you think is the biggest environmental issues we're facing at the moment?

i think the biggest issue is our lifestyle... we distance ourselves so much from nature and natural things that we forget some vital facts..
that we originated from this earth and will vanish in this earth..
that we need air, water and green environment to live and to make a meaning of living.
that energy of life is outside in nature and not in closed air-conditioned houses and offices
that everything one day will die...
so, the more contact we build with nature... the more conscious we would be. The future generation especiallly devoid of these feelings and touches...
thanks

It is difficult to define specifically what a waste is. Items that some people discard have value to others. It is widely recognised that waste materials are a valuable resource, whilst there is debate as to how this value is best realised. Its a high time we need to define what waste is in order that it can be safely and legally managed. Different definitions need to be combined in order to ensure the safe and legal disposal of the waste

Really ... it moves me.... and should move any intelligent and nature loving person...
Can't we consume less in life... less clothes...less energy... less paper... less eatables...
why are we always looking at "more" as Better...
Why can we not see "less" and basic as the Best...

Paper reduction, recycling and reuse save money and habitat for environmental health

The paperless office was supposed to save trees -- but we're using more paper in offices than ever before. Desktop printers and copiers just make it sooooo convenient!
If you like trees...and clean air, consider these solutions for managing your office files, paper use and digital document management. These solutions also provide a great ROI -- you buy less paper, spend less time on paperwork...and enjoy life more!

yes true... due to easy printing... we all waste so much paper in our homes and in offices. Who should be accountable for this.. individuals or office and its systems?

Very TRue... formula i mean!
However, its easy to improve 1% in a few relevant directions rather than improving 100% in one direction.
And one needs to chart out what this 1% would be... 100% everyone knows and can chart out.
:)
What say?
