You can try for six months, since its a good company brandwise, u can get some exposure in recruitment with some new tricks and tacts and it may also be useful for your future career. They also can make you permanent if they like your performance of work.
So just try to join there. But are u working for a company directly , if so then u have to skip this and wait for an offer for an direct company itself.

I think you should go ahead with this offer. You are getting a good Brand name with a better salary. The 6 months contract you can work it out with your company once you are in.
Perform learn some tricks and tacts of recruitment and have a good raport with your Seniors. This should work for you.
Even in case it doesn't, you have a background of Recruitment as well in your profile along with a Brand name and salary, which will help you in getting a good opportunity.

Gunjan: Though I do understand that I would be also be skeptical, if I were in your shoes. But if you look from a different perspective, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain in taking up this offer. Since you are already in the RPO and this change would only take you into a branded Co (though it is into Contract mode and not in a Generalist Role).
Looking at the Pros and Cons are:
Pros- If you do well, then you might be taken into their role and down the line couple of years later, you can request for a role change and monetarily you stand to gain as you might be paid on par with the industry standards.
Cons - Even otherwise, this exposure would be good enough and make you confident to go for better opportunities in the future.
Choice is yours !
Good Luck and All the Best
