There is coming a change in the applicability criteria under E.P.F. Act,
The present strength of employees to be taken into consideration while checking the applicability is 20 employees, but it will soon be amended to 10 employees only..

Hi all,the present EPF Act 1952 has provisions that any factories or establishments having 20 or more employees hav to contribute to the EPF. Emplyoyee's contribution(basic+DA) with salary up to Rs.6500/- pm is 10 to 12 percet while the employer's contribution is 8.33% towards Employee Pension Scheme and the Central govt.'s contribution is 1.16%.thanksprautk
