HI! Meet
Actually will calculating the CTC you should take into acct PT and for the remaining it might be sumthing which you company gives apart from your CTC coz when you calculate net take home + pf 1260 + gratuity 505 + LTA1000 then it comes to 29,166.

Dear Chitra & OM...
thanks for caring to reply!!
My net take home is 24880 + pf 1260 + gratuity 505 + LTA1000 + PT 200 = 27845 (+LWF 12 + death fund 50)
still its not nearby to my mthly ctc of 29166
u wanna say i should add PT of 2500 which is yearly ,to my mth CTC??
why should i add it every mth.??
And though PT is part of your Payslip and its a tax deducted from mth sal...it is not a component of total CTC.
I hope u must have got my point.
kindly suggest
Thanks & Regards

Hi! Mayank
I forgot to add "not" in my previous post. PT is not to be considered during the calculation of CTC could you give me sum clarification regarding wht is LWF and how much is your death fund is it 50 only.
Other thing also let me know your calculation by which you have got your net take home as 24880.

I think your salary is 24880 + pf 1260 + gratuity 505 + LTA1000 + PT 200 + medical reimbursement 1250 = 29095 (+LWF 12 + death fund 50)
the medical reimbursement amount is deducted initially and given back on producing medical bills. This may be done on quaterly or yearly basis.
I may be wrong, but you can check with your finance dept.

Hi Chitra...
for your info LWF is "labour welfare fund" & its deducted as rs 12pm.
Yes death fund deduction is rs 50.
Calculation for my net take home is as follows:
EARNINGS
basic + da = 10,500
HRA = 5,250
Executive allowance = 3,675
personal compensatory allowance = 4,927
transport allowance = 800
medical reimbursement = 1,250
total earnings = 26402
DEDUCTIONS
PF 1,260
PT 200
LWF 12
DEATH FUND 50
total deductions = 1522
so my net take home is 24880.
do u need any more clarification pls do get back to me.
thnks again for ur help. Atleast ur trying to figure it out. Other members r not taking that much effort also.
thnks & ragards

Hi Christina....
Thanks for the reply.
This can be a possibility but if this was the case then the medical reim amt shown in salary slip should be 1250 minus xyz deduction.
but i have been paid full 1250.
My point is when I try to calculate in reverse order ie
net payable + deductions + annual component/12 (LTA in my case)
does not come to my mth CTC. (ctc/12)
Something is missing out somewhere or i am paid less.
try to calculate ur CTC in this way & let me know whether ur getting paid right or not?
Thanks & Regards
