I am struck with a question whether regulations of Factories Act, 1948 regarding -
1. Weekly hours
2. Daily hours
and OT policy
3. Overlapping of shifts
apply to companies who engages contract labourers in their factories, with respect to labours on contract.
Put it otherways, does factories act apply to contract labourers working in factoires.
Kindly reply at earliest.
