Dear Friends..
We(MNC) are planning to recruit candidates from Polytechnic (Diploma Candidates) and ITI candidates in AP state. Right now we dont know what is the procedure to recruit those candiates.
Can anyone give a idea about it
1. What is general selection procedure ( Tests / Interviews...etc)
2. Or only educational qualification
3. About ITI candidates what it the interview method ?

Actually the process might differ with the type of resources you need and the skill sets you require.

For Eg: If you have the flexibility to hire freshers, you can actually go to the colleges, where you can take a feedback from the college staff as to who the best students are and who have got good marks in the practicals.

That can be your first step of shortlisting.

Then you can have a technical round through your technicians followed by a practical round at the campus itself and select them.

If you need experienced resources, then you might have to call them for the interview, let the technicians take the technical interview, put them through the practical tests and then you can finalize the candidates.

So here the skill is important rather than the education.

As an example a person who has passed the fitter training in ITI might be doing the job of a welder and vice versa.

You will aready have the specifications as per your businees requirements, which you can implement in the practical test and assert their efficiency.

Good Morning..
I got your points very clearly..
We have plan to recruit the peoples from Enginerring Colleges too..
We have our own selection techniques in this regards..
we have no idea about what is the selection techniques normally in our country for recruiting peoples from Polytechnic and ITI..
We dont want to follow the same techniques which we follow BE candiates..its too tough for those Diploma and ITI candidates..
Thats why we want to follow the regualr method which is currently followed plus our requirements..
