ok first tell me first how do u get time to read so many magzines, see the point is not to have superficial knowledge of everything the point is to have good n real good knowledge of what u knw n u cant remember everything frm so many mag's dude accept that n even i m a 2nd yr mba student.
firstly read the newspaper everyday
secondly even if u read one hr mag like hrm review and if u read articles from the net then thats gud enuf but learn to strike a balance between genral awsareness n domain knowledge

Well there is nothing wrong in knowing about various magazins. May be for any project, presentation, etc one might need to refer a good magazine. Only newspaper can't be sufficiant all the time. Even though he can't remember everything atleast he can take help of it anytime he needs...

Dear Snowhite, You may read any magazine which appeals to you most. Since u have mentioned names of some, i am sure you would have also gone through them. Now, it is for you to decide, which has been more informative, knowledgeable etc. Each one of us, if given an option, may select a different magazine depending on which magazine addressed our query, the best. Whichever magazine you read, pl dont stop visiting this temple, mosque, church, gurudwara (and names of all places of workship) of HR, the Cite HR. What you have here, you will never find in one magazine/one place. Regards, Srini

Hallo friends n respected seniors. These days i hav been looking for good reference 4rm u all -regarding a good HR-magazine dat one can read. I asked u to refer out of da various options (magazines) listed above. But da irony is dat till now dere is no one who could guide properly in choosing a magazine. With reference to one of the above posts , i would like to say dat if i had ever gone through them den i could hav decided on my own. Also i know da names of dese magazines, it doesn't mean dat i want to read all of them. But i asked u to suggest da name of a single magzn out of dese. Most of above posts appears to deliver lecture rather den showing da path.
I know dat such a post is not welcomed by dis website but sorry to say dat if our members donot encourage each other by giving proper replies den what's the use of their posts n membership.

hello
simirali
i had read ur case. its should not be a problem to you because ur working with youngers who r in superior in position, you can learn lot from them learning is also new to every body whether you have experience or not . so, shed the perception of feeling guity/rude . in the company positions and role's does matters not the age factor.
the different treatment u get is ur perception only. mingle with them and see the change , they will respect to ur age and seek ur help.dont be arrogant that have better knowledge than them . nobody is perfect or best in the world.
if u know the work better than them then tell them in polite manner.
"YOUR RESPONSIBLE TO THE POSITION NOT TO THE PERSON"
