Under Shops and establishment Act , there is provision of only Earned Leave/ PL .
For every 60 days worked , 5 days leave is to be given.
Shops & Establishment does not talk anything on Sick Leave & Casual Leave.

cl get lapse immediately ,sl can be accumulated upto 27 and get lapse after one year,and pl up to 45 leaves i.e for three years

This is to clarify you that Shops & Establishment Act is a State Act & therefore first see which State Shops & Establishment Act is applicable in your case & then go through leaves provisions in that Act to know the number of leaves.

as per the Tamilnadu Shops and Establishments Act, an Employee will be allowed for 12 days CL, 12 days SL and 12 Previlege Leave after successful completion of the one year, only PL can be accumulated maximum of 30 days and excess of the same either shall be encashed or serve for a notice while leaving, pls adv your views

Our company registered under shop act act and situated in Pune Maharashtra. We are preparing Leave policy, there are different openion among the management about the no of leaves and catagory like national holiday, EL, SL,CL etc.
