Dear All,
Ours is a software service company with a employee strength of 70+, We have our leave policy which allowes employees to avail total 12 days CL ,
3 Days SL and & 7 days of EL, besides we have our last saturday of every month is off and total 11 days of gazetted holidays. I need to know is this leave structure is according to the law? If not then what should be the ideal as par the law. Can any employee take any legal action if we follow the existing policy? :?:
Thanks and Regards,
Manas

Dear Manas :D :)  :o Pl look into Shops & Establishment Act as applicable to Delhi as you would be a registered firm thereunder. If there is any divergence from the statutory provisions you can be hauled up by the Inspector under the Act. Regards Kk Nair

Dear Manas,
I completely agree with prashant, regarding compliance with Statutory norms.
As per your leave structure I find it to be very peculiar and non conducive to employees.
If you want to keep the total leave same then dont categorise it under Casual, Sick and Earned, just put it as Leave.
Kind Regards,
SC
