Dear Pari, From your HR Policy it seems the Company is more interested in terminating employees and getting protection legal or otherwise then recruiting and retaining employees. Regards, SC

When drafting an employment contract, make sure that it is fair to both parties. One minor point... always make the employee sign accepting the offer of employment and stating the date when he or she will join the company.
You may also state that if the employee accepts the offer of employment, he or she is expected to start work on xxx (date). Otherwise, if you leave the offer open, the
employee can take his own sweet time and a month or two later, he will say, I am not ready to join your company. This has happened before with a friend's company.
