In this particular situation, if its mentioned in the appt letter....i think u should go ahead and with the help of your management or senior send that employee a warning letter first and in case there is no response from that employee....send him/her a termination letter. make sure that u send it to his address thru registerar and not courier...keep the receipt of the register as record in his personal file.
Also, find attached a sample of the warning letter...in case u dont have one. i dont have a termination letter format, if i get i will send it to you.
