hi,
Attrition Rate Calculation: The Perfect Way
It can be best expplained with example. So I state an example here of an industry.
It has to be calculated annually.
So take the no. of employees on first of every month.
Month No. of Employees
Jan 1010
Feb 1000
Mar 1002
April 1008
May 1012
June 1015
July 1010
Aug 1005
Sep 1002
Oct 995
Nov 1000
Dec 1005
Say 100 people have left during a year.
First take the average no. of employee
Average for above data will be = 1005 employees(total/12)
1005employees 100 have left
100(for percentage) ? ( Attrition Rate)
Cross Multiply, so the Attrition Rate is 9.5%.
I hope you do understand. this is the right way and if you have any doubts do ask. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks & Regards,
