Hi,
In my view, the postion with regard to service bond has not undergone any change. We can continue to ask our employees to enter in to a service bond. The important point to be considered is, that the bond should not be one sided. It should not heavily lean in favour of the Management to the disadvantage of the employee. It should stand the test of a valid contract entered in to between the employer and the employee.

Hi myself Vimal.I have few doubts on this topic
1) Bond is valid only if it is signed before a notary or registered or the agreements made on plain paper also valid?
2) does the employer can ask for documents (like education certificates, marklists) etc from the employee.Does the employee can have protection against this?
