I Am Pawan Kumar. I Have Recently Joined This Site. I Have Joined An Organisation In Hr Gen. Profile. I Dont Have Any Idea What R The Basic Components Of A Salary Structure Life Pf, Gratuity,esi, Hra, Basic Salry.
If U Can Tell Me How These Componenets Are Calculated And Waht R The Formulas For Doing So, I Will Be Glad To Know..

want know what are the specific rules regarding the statuary compliance
including PF, Gratuity,Basic,HRA,LTA and other allowances..
Is there any universal rules to apply on all companies or the companies itself decide the ratio of the various components.

Normally wht i use in my organisation is basic=50% of gross, HRA = 40% of basic, medical = 1250/-pm, travel allowance = 800/-pm, conveyance = 25% of basic, pf = 12% of basic (employer & employee), esi = 1.75% employee & 4.75% employers and bonus = 8.33% of basic minimum (maximum 20%). And for the remaining components its as per ur companies policy.
