ESI officials insisting for certification of Chartered accountant for the returns to be submitted, every half year to ESI department, effective from October, 2007. Is there any such circular that was issued by the ESI department, if so, please provide the same for the purpose of our HR community.

Hi RAmesh,
In the new RC Form they have stated clearly that if number of employee is more than 40, then it must be certified with the Chartered Accountant..
I have one of the printed circular from ESI office Delhi regarding this, which i got from the ESI office.. you may also ask for the same..

Dear Sir,
I require a sample copy of R.C. (6months return) because past year there is only 16 workers in our factory now around 56-60 members due to the season, anyway kindly send me anybody copy r.c.

it has to be submitted on or before 10 th may and november 10 th of every year if employees number is more than 40 it has to be attested by CA
