Dear All,
I am planning to do programme a training for the class IV staff who are working in our organisation for quite some time and there are people who dont know read/write/speak english. I am planning to educate them and can anyone suggest what are other areas of upgrading them? They are all very sincere and loyal people and hence we do not want to lose them at any cost.
Please advise.

You should post it in this post only. Ok, now, you are doing nothing wrong. Start with english. It is a very noble idea. The other things you can teach them is EPBAX operations, Mailing Desk Attendants, Liftman Certificate, Fax, Photocopying(Xerox), Scanner, Projector Operation.
Hope, I have been able to give you some idea. You can also visit the Central Workers Education Board's office or website to find other training programs.

Hello, In addition to suggestions already received, please try following programmes:
a) Improving Quality of Life at Workplace
b) Managing Self and Money Matters
c) Discipline & Conduct Rules of Company
d) Improving Quality in One's Area of Work
In our organisation, we also encourage Class IV staff to present, atleast once in six months, before HODs or their Group Incharges, their plans to improve things in next 6-12 months.
I hope you will be able to try some of these suggestions depending upon the need
