Hi All,

Myself Neha, working in Suma Soft Pvt Ltd, Pune into recruitments. We have been working on Java Architect position since Oct 2007. till date we have not been able to close the requirement. We are a small scaled organisation consisting of 65 resources, we are also ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified company. Earlier we were looking for an experience level of 4.5yrs and the package range was 7lpa, but now we have changed the exp. level to 6+yrs and the package range as compared to the same is 9lpa.

We have been facing problems in the closure of this requirement. We have tried almost all the best levels to do this like: Referring to the job portal like Monster, referring to the consultants, placing an add in the newspaper. Till date we have interviewed almost 30+ candidates but none of them fit into the technical skill set which we are looking for. As it's a small scaled organisation the responsibilities are greater but the role is a challenging role. It includes Team Management as well as Client Management along with the technical responsibilities like designing at a higher end as well as understanding of the architecture.

Can anybody suggest me some other way of recruiting and closing this position?

Regards,

Dear Neha,
In such situation you can try the following options:
1. Employee referral and with that you can announce some winning amount also (this really works)
2. Head Hunt - identify the companies of similar profession and then you can search.

Greetings from GroupHR!!!
You are trying to recruit a person in the sal. & exp. band which is identical to a big IT company. That's such a difficult ask because normally people with such skill sets are recruited easily in big sized firms. Rather than selling salary to prospective emp. , you can sell them the challenge and growth. That may bring you some suitable profiles.
The best way to do that is through consultants because they have the option of leaving salary open, which you don't have. It is fact that if the position is so critical to your company , you can always go one-two lakhs here or there.
We have done java architect position in the past and we would be willing to be associated with you in this search. We are staffing solution firm based at "New Delhi" and i am attaching a PPT for your perusal.

Hi Neha,
Thanks for the suggestion provided by you. We have also tried Employee Referral and the amount decided by the Management was Rs 10,000 only. There are no responses to that email.
I have even tried the second option like tapping the similar companies and head hunting people from there. But even this has not worked out because of the CTC problem.
We are looking for a person who has worked on all the technologies and is a fit readymade person to Suma Soft who can join us and immediately start working. The technologies are like JSP, Servlets, MVC Struts, SQL, Architecture, Designing (Database), Good understanding of JSF, XML, Business, domain understanding, problem solving skills etc. He should also have a fair knowledge of Hibernate, Spring.
Any more suggestions that you can provide. I am single handedly working on this requirement since last 4 months.
Regards,
Neha Deshpande
