Dear HRians,
The Govt has recently launched a 3 year apprenticeship prog towards skill development. In this diploma holders can be hired on 3 year apprentice program by organisations, however its not clear as to which all states have adopted this. Can some one please let me know as to which all states have implemented this scheme.
Thanks & Best Regards

As per the Model Standing orders and most of the certified Standing orders, we cannot engage persons with prescribed technical qualification i.e., Diploma holder for three years. Experts may inform as to how Industries could engage technical persons for more than one year without amending the Standing Orders Act.

Dear Sir,
Standing orders are not at all applicable to staff and supervisory category. You can hire diploma holders in supervisory or technical staff category as trainee. My learned friends could shed light on this.
