@ LEKSHAMI AMPATTU,
The current ESIC exemption limit is 15000 Gross. As per your state rule if any organization have 10 or more employees & if any of the employee's salary is less then 15000 gross Salary, ESIC is applicable. & As per ESIC Act Employee or Employer can not deny to get benefit of the social benefit scheme.
You may search more for this rule on your local website : Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Kerala - [ http://esickerala.gov.in ]
Hope it will help you.

1. Dear member, ESI Act, 1948 is a central Act and applicable to all implemented centres in India. There are no specific provisions of exemptions for any specific state say for Kerala.
2. All employees getting wages( as defined under said Act) upto and including Rs. 15000/ per month are covered under said Act provided the unit is located in implemented area.
