We are a manufacturing company having 2 units in in Gujarat in nearby proximity. We manufacture hazardous chemical A & B in Unit-1 & A,D,E in Unit-2. Recently we have slightly modified our process in Unit 2 & now planning to manufacture Chemical B also in Unit 2. Does it require prior permission under The Factories Act, 1948 ?
