Pls be informed,Every company looks out for HR resources and talent.To perform each specific activity in a job /employment in any organisation,it demands for certain skill sets, talent and educational eligibility attached to it.Certain Jobs/employments also demand for certain level of experience.Based on these needs management works out a detailed policy for recruiting /hiring people.And these policies include the way how people will be recruited/hired and inducted in the organisation.The concept of job description gives only the outline feature of the specific skill sets/talents/education/experience required for a specific Job.Job description is preliminary requirement that every candidate needs to be fulfilled yet selection is not guaranteed as employment criteria demands additional features to be checked in respect of any particular job. eg - Background veryfication etc.

Job Description and Job Specification are the outcomes of JOB Analysis , namely
JD stands for the responsibilities involved,reporting authority information and all factors pertaining to Job (Duties involved , info on Org hierarchy , Do's and Don't involved in the job.Example: your designation , reporting authority , duties involved etc(ALL Designation ASPECTS). It helps in determining the JOB Responsibilities ETC.
JS Stands for all the specification related to Human Skills and requirements which are required to satisfy the responsibilities in that position. Example: Qualification on education , types of personality , attitude etc.(ALL HUMAN ASPECTS) It helps in determining the type of individual to be hired.
