Haryana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Panchkula in its order dated 2.9.2013 (copy attached) has held that there is no provision in EPS for restoration of commuted pension and therefore once a pensioner opted for commutation, he is entitled only for balance pension on monthly basis.
