Dear All,
Please find attached a notice published by Sales Tax Dept., Maharashtra for P. Tax, for your information.
According to this notice, un-enrolled individuals can now pay MPT of previous eight years with nominal amount of Rs. 2 per day as penalty and get rid of proceedings by the department.
Kindly also note that the last date of payment towards PTE (i.e. by company and employers) is 30th June 2012 for the year 2012-13.
