    Warm New Year Wishes!! Sir we have monthly newsletter wherein articles are published by and for the students; so can you plz suggest me some interesting topics:

    I have already written on Hr-Moving from Traditional to Strategic and Gandhian Thoughts on today's Corporate World.

    hope this message finds you well.
    Am working a construction company in KSA. We dnt have any of the HR processess except recruitment. Every dept works like individual government and too much of procedures to do normal activities which really complicates doing. Its quite nature people being senior will try to knock the new. Also i measure my each steps before doing them.

    Anyway in HR... We dnt have performace appraisal, training anything other than recruitment. But policy has been framed to everything but nothing is implemented. When i wanted to bring them in to existence, feel like every doors are closed saying this cannot be done here etc etc. I dnt take long steps as am new joinee and am here in this company for four months.
    To the point, I dnt know how to start up with. Need your advise please.

    Expecting ur valuble inputs.

    If qualifications/skill/competencies are, then give priority to following:

    1. Length of Service with company. Promote employee who joined first.
    2. If above is also same, then Age of the employee - Promote employee with higher age.
    3. If above is also same, promote employee whose peer acceptance is high!

    I hope by now you will get an answer. If not, go for a draw.
