PF is to be given on Basic, DA, Food and retaining allowances (that is paid when there is no work in the establishment but in order to retain some talented employees, we pay an amount but not as salary but as retaining allowance)

    We follow the same block of 4 years, where 1 and 3 are taxable(where bills are required and if not then total taxable) and 2 and 4 are non taxable(where no bills are required)

    Q 1: Employees want to make yearly entitled LTA pay on monthly basis(Annual LTA/12) -- Can we do or not? If Yes, then incase any employee produce the actual bill for travel during the calendar year then s/he will get Tax benefit on produced bills and else will be taxable. Eg. 10000 yearly entitlement and employee produced tickets for 5000 then his 5000 thousand will be taxable and 5000 thousand will non tax

    Q 2: Incase employee did not claim LTA in Non taxable year and he claims LTA in next year Taxable year without bills, will the total accumulated amout be liable for Tax or previous year non taxable amount will be exempted?

    Our packing contractor has submitted a lumpsum bill based on per metric tone basis For Rs.100000/- how much amount will be considered for PF ESIC deductions.While Contractors profit/Exp.and PF ESI contribution is included in this amount.

    Madhu.T.K said : Profession tax like income tax is deducted from the employee's salary and then how can it become part of CTC? There is no employer's share to it. Of course, for the revenue that the employer makes out of selling his products or service, he is bound to pay Profession tax which is paid as an expense and it will not come under employees CTC.

    if salary is more than 15000k then 200 is applicable.

    My question: is 200 deduction from employee side only or is there any amount which has to be given by employer side also.

    Can we show 200 part of CTC Breakups?
