Time To Choose Our Moderators

If you are willing to volunteer to moderate any forum you are welcome to send in yours application to me at sid AT citehr [guess the rest] or private message me. Each member will only be allowed to moderate one forum [with some exceptions] - and each forum will have multiple moderators to make sure that there is someone always online to move, edit, delete threads and posts.

Responsibilities of a moderator

You should only apply to moderate a forum where you feel you have a certain amount of expertise in the subject of the forum and want to create a difference by helping others understand the subject. You also need to be online often to make sure that your forum is clean from spam and well organized.

Moderating Powers

Being a moderator is much like being the caretaker of a family. So its even more important that you as a moderator are very polite towards others - cause you will set the atmosphere of the forum. It's important to judge members and their posts with an open mind. The task is simple - keep your forum clean from spam and lively by adding important topics of discussion from time to time.

As a moderator you will have powers to move, delete, edit any thread or post - these powers will help you move and thread which doesn't belong in your forum and delete any spam messages.

Once you have a certain amount of experience and have shown us that you are a good moderator you will be given powers to issue warnings to other members or ban them from the forum.
