I am Erda, I am hundred miles away from Hyderabad, I’m from the Philippines. I’m not lost though… I intentionally come here to ask for your opinions, suggestions or violent reactions (kidding!).

Here are some facts:

I have a loving boyfriend from Hyderabad, we are both mature to settle down. So, recently we plan out on how things are to be done. He has a stable job in Hyderabad as a Scientist (BIOChemist). The initial plan is for me to relocate in Hyderabad. My questions are :

1.How is the acceptability of Indian marrying a foreigner like me? How difficult in terms of processing of documents? Its legality?

2.What is my chances in landing/getting a job there?I am an HR practitioner for 9 years of a University and a holder of MBA. I am more familiar with academic setting not much on corporate. Though basic HR functions are the same. Are labor requirement tedious for Alien Employment?

3. We are looking it in two ways:

Go in Hyderabad as single, look for a job and have time to adjust
to Indian culture, then get marry or;

We process our marriage first, settle down and eventually look for a
job.

Your inputs on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

My name is Vishal.I recently joined a small company, its been 1.5 months now.I still have not been given the offer letter and was told that it will not be given as it was misused by one of the employees before.(Not sure what happened).All my colleagues who have been working since the last 2 years have the letter.

My question is should I continue with this company or will it pose a problem later on(during my next job).I do not even have the payslips, since they never handout the payslips.Its only a cheque thats given at the end of the month.

Will it pose a problem while filing taxes .I have never filed taxes before, this would be my first time.

P.S.I got my first pay cheque though, but the cheque was deposited in the bank so I have no copies of the cheque.
