Knowing performance objectives and how you have faired is the most crucial aspect of performance appraisal. I would also be undergoing one a month from now. I had some questions to get answered around this for a semi annual appraisal for an experienced new joinee ;<br />
 <br />
1.   What do you mention as your performance objectives if you have not been given any work during the period and you have been simply doing some petty tasks.<br />
 <br />
2.  If your boss's boss is your 2nd in line of appraiser and if your boss forces you to give some rosy picture about your performance objective, what should you do?<br />
 <br />
Please note that I frequently approach my boss to come to a conclusion on work objectives but nothing has happened till date.<br />
 <br />

Here the bolt operators (dealers) do not source the clients themselves. They follow the orders given by their reporting managers. Hence their performance is basically judged on their punching errors. Can only one or two points be classified as the KPI / KRA?</font></font><br />
