Pgdba / Pgdhrm

Hi All, I am going to do my PGDBA / PGDHRM through distance mode from a recognised institution in India. All programs offered by the institution are Diploma. I would like to know as to how much weightage is given to PGDBAs / PGDRMs? And does such programs confer a Diploma or a Degree? Thanks & Regards, Subhashini
