As you have not specified from which university or institute are you pursuing your MBA.

I feel as you have recently joined MBA course,if you are interested in finance then in MBA you have a subject having Finance and accounting.You first need to also check that do you have that much of aptitude to perform well in fianance.

If you feel you are having good potential to perform well in it and have aptitude then you go ahead.
As you have just joined MBA so you may continue that or if you have commerce background then you can prepare for ICWA or C.A. exams also.
