I've recently joined a Company. Prior to joining I had settled that they would take care of my relocation. In turn they had informed me tht they will reimburse upto Rs 15000 against my actual Movers bill and will reimburse the travel exp for my family and me.

This month, I received the amount and realised that around 6000 bucks have been deducted as tax on that amount. This is something i was not prepared for at all. Is this a norm ? Is there anything I can do about this ? pls Give...

can anybody help me with this,

my father died last month because of heart attack( according to the company doctors ) inside the company premises.
at the time of this accident i was not in the town , my younger sister & my mother were only at the home.
they were informed about all this after three hrs of death.
according to the company doctor, my father was suffering from high b.p so he refer my father to the big hospital ( 35 kms away...
