Recruitment Firms
Hi,

Greetings!

If anyone can help me with the details on

what are the normal charges that is paid to the consultants if one is placing the candidate
if there any additional charges which should be charged
what is the replacement guarantee given in international placements
is it true that companies do not pay to consultants and it is only the charges which is to be taken from the candidate directly
is there any additional terms when we do international placement comparitive to the domestic placements
if someone could guide me on this, moreover I was also looking for some sample international agreements

warm regards

hi Ayush,

its not that no one wants to answer but maybe they were busy with something......just be patient and im sure someone or the other will surely reply

Here are the detais as requested by you...

When companies recruit candidates from rec consulatnts within UAE then;
  1. They charge one month's salary of the candidate. Sometimes it may vary between 10-12% of annual gross salary. Depends upon the consultant
  2. They give a guarantee of 3 months. Within this period they will replace the candidate free of charge.
  3. All the expenses such as visa as to be borne by the company. Recruitment consultants generally never charge the candidate any fees and should not.
When recruiting Internationally, the procedure is as below;
  1. One month's base salary is generally charged.
  2. Employment visa, ticket attestation of docs from the Indian Consulate is done by the company.
  3. You as a consultant as to make sure that the candidate completes all the prerequisites of coming here...
  4. If the candidate resigns then either a replacemnet is to be provided.
Hope I have answered your queries as per your satifaction..

Cheers,

Sandeep

Hi Sandeep,

Thank you so much.
Well, we are getting into the international placement and it is just the initial phase, we have come across some companies who offer one specific amount for all kinds of International recruitment, how is that calculated and would that be fair to do
Secondly, I also wanted to know the licensing process which is applicable in India and would that also cost something to us

Hi AB,

As far as my knowledge goes they should not charge a standard fee for all Intrenational placements. It varies with the position ie Blue collar or White Collar.. The fee should be diff for the positions

for eg you can charge a standard fee for all Blue collar jobs such as welders,plumbers,electricians,mechanics etc..

for the white collar it should be a standard amount...e g i month basic for any white collar position

Secondly about the licensing there I'm not sure whether I can give you any idea as I'm out of Indian for the last decade..

Regards,

Sandeep
