Dubai HR Openings...

Hi Everyone,

I am new here and loved all your postings. My dream is to get a permanent HR job in Dubai. Am presently in Bangalore as a HR Manager with 9 years exp.
I would appreciate it if someone tells me

1. How can I apply for a job in Dubai?

2. If i do need to come and search for a job there, which is the best time of the year?

3. Can someone tell me more on recruitment methodologies and assessment tools used in Dubai?

Dear Arun,

Recruitment agencies play a major role in recruitment here in Dubai as all the top companies recruit through agencies.

Also companies advetise regarding their vacancies in the local news paper, overseas recruitment is not common especially in HR as companies prefer to take people who are aware of the labour laws and visa procedures etc..

Summer is not the right time here as most people are on vacations so recruitment is slow, also during ramadan it is slow as the working hours are reduced, the ideal time would be between October to April.

I recommend you to come on visit visa look for a job then you can change your visa stqtus from visit to employment.

Can I apply to these agencies in Dubai from India? And secondly, how can I prepare and get myself familiar with the UAE labour laws and visa procedures?

As far as I know its no big hazzle to get hold of a job in Dubai if you have the right experience.

So if anyone is really interested in getting a job in Dubai take leave from your company from 1 to 3 months come to Dubai on visit with your updated CV and contact all the recruitment agencies through email or in person the contact details are in the net itself.

Also apply by seeing in Appointments and classifieds where the companies advertise for their job vacancies.

If you feel happy to be here and a good offer grab it.

And this is what I feel because luck is something you need here to survive.

companies here sometimes do overseas recruitment. They mostly have tie ups with other rec consultants placed in India. Adv are put up in newspapers and this is how one sometimes gets a job here in Dubai..

Another way is what lizancy has said which is one of the best ways...

This is Manay Mahaom and I have an overall experience of 7 years and in in front end recruitment it is close to 6 years.
Please let me know if I stand a chance for an opening in dubai.
I am really keen to go there and work and recruit people.
