| | I would highly suggest putting up your CV on www.bayt.com and www.gulftalent.com
These are the most commonly used recruiting websites that are used by most companies...
You may also consider registering on websites of other recruitment firms like clarendon parker.
The other good option would be to chk the website of BAC ME (It is a reputable consultancy firm in UAE). They have a job bank...chk if any vacancy posted there, suits your profile, and you can email them, with your updated C, recent PP pic, a brief about yourself and your availability to join. Ofcourse, as suggested to you earlier by Lizancy..it's good to be here on a visit visa and mk it your 1 time focus to get a job here. So wake up early, scan all the the appointments section of Gulf News & Khaleej Times...post your CV. Speak to recruitment firms that you can, and ask thm if you can fix up a meeting...be a go -getter!
And most importantly...Believe in yourself! Be confident! You gotta sell youself across the table in those few minutes with the consultant....if they are convinced, they will be all out to send your CV to every place they can
All thes best! |

| | Dear Hari,
Visiting visa's durationis for 60 days & can be extended by 30 days more.
I believe 11-12K Dhr plus HRA & Travel allowance is offered for a HR proff whoz 7-8 yrs of exp.
The best way is to go there on visiting visa (strict no no during summers as the Top management in all d gud firms are out on vacations), get urself registered with Gulf news or khaleej times and put an job ad for yourself, register with Bayt / gulftalent and scanappointment section of newpapers and contact local job consultants there ... Good if you have any reference there ...
All d best my dear friend...
Regards,
Nairsahab

| | Hi all,
Good topic for discussion.
As many of you have correctly mentioned, summer time, i.e. June middle to August middle is not the right time to come over to UAE seeking a new job. There is also one slack period which is not favorable for job hunt. This is the one month period of the holy month of Ramadan and this year it is starting around 3rd of September (approximately).
It will be a good idea to look at the following sites: S O S Recruitment Consultants Kershaw Leonard NADIA | Jobs in UAE | GNAds4U.com - Jobs
There are other job agencies too, which you will find by searching in the web.
Please do post your resume here as word attachment so that we may have a look at it and may be able to forward to any prospective employers if there is any opportunity.
Please also have all your degree certificates attested by your local legal attorneys and then by the UAE Embassy in Delhi before embarking for a job here as attested educational certificates are a must for processing employment visa.
A warning in advance: As per UAE labour law, any one working without proper employment papers are liable for legal actions - both the employer and the employee. So, if you are here on the look out of a job, be cautious while taking up your job and then working during the processing period.
More details will be added as I recollect more.
All the best,
Ramesh Menon

Summer is not the right time here as most people are on vacations so recruitment is slow, also during ramadan it is slow as the working hours are reduced, the ideal time would be between October to April.
I recommend you to come on visit visa look for a job then you can change your visa stqtus from visit to employment.
All the best!!
