I have been maintaining our company news letter single handedly from past many months.

You can name it as "Connect" or "Waves" or something innovative like this.
regarding articles...
First page should be always filled up by the news of your company like..
From the CEO's Desk or Operations Desk or so, Monthly Review Meeting highlights( if you have any such), Star Employee of Month, New Joiners, Birthday wishes and stuff.
Second page should be like "News from Office",
in this second page, yopu can try writing small..small writeups with photographs on the events that happens in your company like, Marriages, B'Day celebration, any events conducted by your company. This page depnds on the kind of industry you are in.
Thrid page,
You can let your employees know a policy a month, you can add up a aricl called "Corporate Hero" where in which, you would be wriing siome articles on Corporate Heroes Like...Ray Kroc (Mc. Donalds), Karsanbhai K Patel (Nirma), DhiruBhai Ambani (Reliance) etc. Now, comes the intresting article that is "Know Your colleauge", in this article you would writing up an article on any one of your mployees every month. You can make it two If you want to. You need to imnterview your employees and gather some intreting from their lives and then go ahead and print them. I enjoy doing it. Hope, you to will.
Fourth Page
It would be fillers...like Horoscope, Corporate cartoon, Quiz and amazing facts and stuff.
