hi friends i am HARDEEP from india. i would like to know about the HR jobs in australia for INDIAN. what are the requirements for that.

Hi Hardeep,

I agree with Mujeeb, seek.com.au is a very good place to start. You can also try careerone.com.au (but I personally prefer seek). Both these sites will give you a good idea of what Australian employees expect.

Usually it requires some uni degree, or at least a HR diploma or higher. Have a look at OTEN NSW website for a breakdown of the diploma, or also check TAFE NSW to get a better idea.

I am also trying for a HR job in Australia. As per my research there is a site name Department of Immigration and Citizenship is an australian gov site. You will get a Skill Occupation List(SOL)over there. This list will guide you what are the vacancies are available in Australia. Feel free to mail me if any other info required. My id is

Good to know that you have done your Masters in Social Work. I have also done my Masters in Social Work with specialization in Industrial Relations & Personnel mnagement from BHU, Varanasi.

Presently I am working in an IT Staffing Firm in its HR team.

My name is Karuna and Im living in Sydney since Sep' 2007

Before that I was working as HR in an IT co. in chennai

Getting a HR job in Australia without local experience and Australian qualification is very tough..

I have done my Masters in HRM and Executive HRM from India but that is not considered in Australia.

Now Im working as an Admin Assistant and searching for HR roles.
