I appreciate the efforts taking for posting the above attached files. But I have a humble request. When we professionals post something, those should be authentic. I think the writer has not updated the knowledge. The latest amendments and notifications are not included. This will misguide the readers. I have gone through the post at a glance only and found two mistakes. One is that the name of the Workmen's Compensation Act which has been changed as Employees' Compensation Act. Second is the upper limit of Gratuity amount as per Gratuity Act, which has been enhanced from Rs. 3.5 lakhs to Rs.10 lakhs. I request the author to review the article fully and incorporate latest amendments and notifications. C. K. Krishnan.

Dear HR people,
I have completed 2 years of agreement in my present organization and I was relieved on 28 Feb 2017 along with experience and relieving letters.
But that organization is still haven't paid my EL's and gratuity. When I call the HR they answering like "we will give next month" or "we are working on it" or "head office people are not responding".
They have deducted gratuity from salary every month and I know they haven't prepared HR policy's.
According to the labour laws "how many days it will take to settle the final payment to a resog end employ?
Is there any other way to get my amount?
