Hi All,
My question is that if any company opens the accounts of all its employees and pay salary by transferring the amount to their respective account, then is it necessary to to the salary register signed by each and every employee? And the employee do get the salary slips.
I am hoping for some good reply from you friends.
Thanks,

Instead of getting the signatures of employees, put the relevant account numbers. This will suffice the requirement. You have to provide the salary slip, even though it is paid through bank.

The salary slips can be mailed to all employees , it is a must to give salary slips to all employees.
You can make a website with help of your IT dept, on which the portal can be same and every employee can view their salary slip online , you can give unique login ids and a defualt password to start with , which can be changed later by them. You can become the administrator of the same.
And it is not important for employees to sign salary register , it needs to be controlled and validated by HR and Finance dept only.

Hi Prashant,
When you are crediting salary to a/c it is not atall required to take sign on register. But yes, company should give salary slip to employee-it is to know the detailed calculation of salary with deductions.
You are taking sign on register to have a record but when you transfer the amount to employees a/c , the transfer details you can have from the companies account itself so their is no need to sign register ..
Any queries .. Feel free to contact me-9824013689

it is advisable to obtain acknowledgements of salary paid to the employees and it is safe in all respects. Moreover, if the establishment is covered under shop act, the labour inspectorate may stress on that.

As mentioned above by Shri. P Ramchandran, when establishment is under Shop Act, then it is necessary to maintain Salary Register, My question is "Under Factories Act and Minimum Wages Act, having any provision for Salary Register and Employee Sign and Payslip? "
