Dear Forum
I want to know whether there is any restrictions from PF department for PF withdrawl , if the any PF Member has filled up SSN form in his previous employment.
I have left my previous employer (A TATA Company) on 21.02.2008. Now I want to submit FORM 19+ FORM 10C to my previous employer since 60 days period has expired. My A/c age is more than 10 years.
The HR of my previous company informed me that I have to transfer by filling FORM 13 & can not withdraw since I had filled up SSN Form with them.
They maintain PF Trust at Hyderabad.
Please clarify

Dear Subhasish,
It is not compulsory to transfer your PF amount to new company. Tata company is Exempted establishment. Exempted establishment deposit their PF amount in Trust & Pension amount in EPFO. you can withdraw your PF amount by submitting Form 19 but you have to transfer your Pension amount to your new PF No.

hi Amit,
Can you throw some more light on the subject..?
What about the cases where the P.F amount was not deposited in the trust and was deposited with the local P.F office.. In these cases can we than not withdraw our P.F money now because of this present system of SSN?
