Default HR in Manufacturing Industry.

Dear All,

I am joining a manufacturing company at a managerial position & I have to establish the HR dept as such in this organization. I am basically from Non-Manufacturing background and hence this industry would be an entirely new ball game for me. Though I am conversant with certain common aspects like Rect & selection, Com & Befit, Emp Relation etc., I want to learn more about the Organizational Structure, Learning and Development & PMS system prevailing in the manufacturing industries.

I request all you those who have knowledge about the above mentioned competencies, please share the same with me. Also if there are some specific books which speaks about HR in manufacturing domain, kindly provide the details of the same.

Thanks & Regards,

Madhu.
