Employees Group Gratuity

Employees Group Gratuity
Is Indian Group Gratuity Act applicable to an Indian employer employing a foreign citizen as an permanent employee and such employee physically works in India for more than 181 days?

Presume there are another 50 Indian citizen employees also employed and covered under the GGCA scheme.

Will such a foreign citizen employee get the claim-
1. a gratuity claim under Gratuity Act?
2. a death claim under allied insurance scheme?
Re: Employees Group Gratuity
The said foreigner DOES come under the group gratuity scheme and is applicable to gratuity as per the act. also if he dies b4 he completes 5 years he DOES get the benefit of gratuity.
In a nutshell...the foriegn national will be trated on par with his indian colleague and no more, no less.
