Default Re: Employee Relations

Ms. Kamble

Employee relations is a sensitive and vast aspect of HR. It covers the life cycle of an employee from inception to exit, attending to his/her needs and ensuring that his/her tenure with the organization is as trouble free as possible. It is a very satisfying profile as you see the response of your efforts instantly, and improvization and implementation can happen rapidly.

Various things that would be covered under ER -
- Onboarding
- Employee engagement activities
- Retention Strategies and Attrition tracking
- Exit interviews and related formalities
- Counselling
- Query handling
- Ensuring adherance to company policies and procedures
- Voicing and addressing employee greivances
- Linkage between employees and management

An ER exec is the face of HR and one has to be careful before expressing your views.

If you are looking for anything specific feel free to drop in an email to me. I'll be more than glad to share my learnings with you.

Warm regards
