Re: DIFFERENTIATION AMONG HR'S
dear senthil

Now a days HR has gronw to the second phase. In the manufacturing industry HR has lot of role right from recruitment till retirement
but inIT,ITES it is also the same but they focus less on industrial relations cos, in manufactring industry they have to be more focussed on IR,welfare, dispute. But here they focus more on recruitment and and other benefits.

so HR in IT,ITES,insurance has less pressure than the manufacturing industry becos of its nature.

Re: DIFFERENTIATION AMONG HR'S
Dear Senthil,

I understand your concern. Yes you are right. Manufaturing industry HR not being recognised comparitively then Corporate HRs.

The reason is manufaturing HR people they have kind of doin the same job from implementing regulations to the final setlement.

but in corporate HR it involves strategic decision. so the importance of HR is higher than in manufacturing HR.

what ever the industry you have mentioned in ur query all are labour intensive industry this may be also one of the reason.
