| | recruitment process hi everybody,
i am varshika from Delhi,doing MBA and now have to do summer Internship in HR so i have been given the topic Recruitment Process of the company i m working and to knowthe recruitment process of other companies and how to improve it,,,,so pls help me out to how to know the recruitment process of other company.I have to gather all the information on telephone only coz i cant do survey in De3l as i m new to this place,,,,so pls any body can help me to tell some information abt some company which can help me out in my project,,,

What exactly do you want to know. See it begins with sourcing of CVs. This can happen through various job sites or referrals or even through consultants. Typically every CV is thoroughly scanned by the Recruitment Manager keeping in mind if the candidate fits the jobs in terms of experience, qualification and also his/her work experience in a similar field. If yes, then the candidate is contacted to appear for a test or online testing. This again depends on the years of experience.
Then the process begins and the candidate would have to go through rounds of interview at various levels(usually 3 levels). If selected then the offer is released.

i too am in need of the R&S process of a company for my project (me 2 doin MBA)...i know the R&S of one of the IT companies so if u want i can mail it to u but i need u to mail me the R&S process that u already have of a company.
need to submit my project tomo so any help will be appreciated.

Here is a over view of a general recruitement process, you may however modify as per the Company.
The objective activities are:
a) Define overall corporate objectives for the stated period ahead.
b) Convert these corporate objectives into manpower objectives for the same period.
PROCEDURE
1) Forecasting manpower
The Functional Head shall assess the manpower requirements of the organization as and when required. This shall be made by considering the following:-
• Estimate of the resources planned for the financial year.
• Detailed targets for each level.
• Project requirement.
The Functional Head shall then discuss the matter with the Director in detail and get his/her written approval for the manpower plan, which shall form the basis of all recruitment.
2) A new employee may be needed in the organization because of:
• Business Expansion
• Business Reorganization
• New skills required to do a certain job based on the manpower plan
• On account of Vacancy due to separation.
3) Before starting the recruitment process the Functional Head shall send the demand for the same to the Director on the prescribed form giving due justification. The justification should include details of new functions/processes, increase in workload i.e. no. of project details, functional areas, additional responsibilities etc.
4) On receipt of the approval for the recruitment the HR shall proceed with recruitment of the suitable person as per the Recruitment procedures.
