The best new HR managers don't waste any time getting up to speed when they move into new jobs. They recognize that the best time to build relationships and impact their organizations is early. If you find yourself in this position, there is a great list of suggestions in this article on what you should do at the website below...

I have been told that this is a long list of things to do. If someone had to do only 5 - 7 things on this list, what would they be? Just curious. thanks, lamont

The reason that I provided this article was because I didn't have a positive experience when I became an HR Manager...and thought this checklist would help others.
Is there anyone else who had a poor experience in the first 30 days and if so what did you do about it?
thanks,
lamont
