Hi Rajesh,
Welcome to the forum!
I guess you can do it in a step wise manner. To start with you can prepare an excel sheet which will have the data of the resignation from your organization (all the departments) in the last on year and then you can prepare a graph or use functions like pivot table to analyze the number of resignation in each department. You can also check the pattern of resignations and then only you would be equiped to start this project.

To Add up!!
You need to calculate the employement turnover ration i.e. the employee leaving the organisation versus the employee joining the organisation which helps you in assessing the overall attrition that is prevailing in your organisation and as well the man power planning.
