Hi Softy,

There is one standard called British Retail Consortium ( BRC). This standard covers 3 aspects quality, safety & legality ( of a product). This standard has different set of requirements for food & non food items. Tesco technical audit is based on BRC standard.

For quality you can follow requirements ISO 9001 , for safety of a product you need to product safety hazard analysis & legality to need to understand legal requirements in the country of manufacturing & also of import.

If you need any further details please write back.

Best Regards,
Shrinkar
